I'm Back...For Now!

Wow, I can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted, but then again, I have been practically tied to my desk working on our bi-annual trade show that I've discussed many times before. So, since my last post, we have had soooo much going on, so I won't bore you with all of the details, but the pictures below are from another horse show that MM won 5 ribbons (can't remember what places right now), but she looked sooo cute in the show! It was so cold that day and we all froze, but she was a tough little cookie!

Anna has her annual cardiology check-up tomorrow, so any prayers are greatly appreciated, specifically that nothing has changed and that she is good-to-go for another year or better!

Sam and I are headed to Dallas for the weekend to celebrate his 30th birthday (next week) while my parents are taking the girls to the beach. Pictures to come later!

We had to register MM for kindergarten a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe she really is THAT old! Man, how time flies! She is ultra excited! With this being her last summer before she starts "real" school, we have decided to not have them enrolled in preschool this summer. The plan is to spend the month of June at the beach through the 4th of July and then we have twin college age babysitters that are going to tag-team babysit during the mornings of July until they start school. I am really looking forward to this summer with the girls and making the most of this precious and rapidly moving time!

We have attended quite a few parties and events in the last month, too, that were so fun (maybe too much fun for me!). The best of those being my Mardi Gras club's Les Krewe Redneck Riviera - as you can imagine by the name, it was quite a riot! Sam and I looked like we came right off the farm - really bad spray tan included! Sorry, you'll have to look on Facebook for those pictures since I forgot to take pictures (which should tell you the "state" I was in)! I haven't been on stage to perform in YEARS and I needed a little liquid courage!

Hopefully, this cold/wet weather is finally over and we can get outside and enjoy nature! Not to mention, I am really antsy to get back on the tennis court!

That's all I can think of right now that you fellow bloggers have missed! Have a great rest of the week!
