I don't know how anyone else feels, but for some reason, I have been so much slower in pushing encouraging Anna to do some of the things that I could not wait for Mary Mac to do, such as swing in a real swing. She is totally content with being our baby and is quick to tell you that she loves being a baby. So the other night, we were out swinging and decided it was time for Anna to be a big girl -as far as swinging goes! She loved it! And Mary Mac has really taken on the role of such an encouraging big sister. She just cheers Anna on and gets so excited when she does something "Big." Here she is swinging her big girl swing. i am the same as you. i wanted reagan to try everything and not have any inhibitions at all. it totally backfired because he is the most laid back child i have ever met. he doesn't want to try anything. he's fine just watching. and scarlett is my daredevil and she will try ANYTHING without any encouragement. and as a result we spent yesterday morning at the doctor making sure that she didn't have a concussion from her stage dive off the side off her crib. she loved it, but her eyes rolling back into her head scared me to death. we are putting up her big girl bed tonight...
